Endocrinology
Dr. Sandy Bassin
Dr. Sandy Bassin is a board certified physician and endocrinologist in central NJ. She specializes in diabetes, weight management, thyroid diseases, gender-affirming care, as well as a variety of hormonal conditions.
She takes time to understand the whole patient, not simply the disease. Her passion is lifestyle medicine, which means she emphasizes healthy eating and exercise in combination with medical therapy.
Dr. Bassin counsels her patients in the clinic, teaches medical trainees as an assistant professor at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, publishes in medical journals, and presents at conferences and on podcasts.
